Are these the only photos you take?
The original sample images on the site are a good representation of the various photography services I can offer. They can be anything from corporate events, product launches, live performances, concerts, sports, architecture, interior design, real estate, and more. Mind you, that's not an exhaustive list. Events come in different forms and sizes, so don't hesitate to contact Shots by Teddy K if you have any questions or ideas!
How much will it cost?
You probably noticed Shots by Teddy K doesn't have a price guide and there's a reason for that. Each project or assignment scales differently, and I don't bill by the hour. I work on a flat fee negotiated in advance stipulating both requirements and deliverables. Connect with me to get a free quote on your next event or project!
Do you also edit the photos?
Absolutely. I can handle a photography workflow from start to finish, meaning I can take the photos on-site and then edit them afterward before delivering them to you. However, I can also tailor the editing process to meet your visual preferences and capture the mood or theme you want to see. Reach out to me with any inquiries and I'd be happy to help!
How do you work?
I'm based in the Greater Toronto Area and operate as an on-site photographer, specializing in photography that requires being present wherever the event or subject happens to be. Depending on the event, I may request special arrangements (i.e. lighting a red carpet) but in a majority of cases, I will have the gear needed to get the job done.
Do you take photos with smartphones?
While I use mirrorless cameras and other pro-level equipment, my strong consumer technology background affords me the opportunity to test out a wide range of smartphones from across the globe. That helps tremendously in instances where clients deem mobile photography valuable or necessary for a project or coverage. In fact, some of the images on this site were taken with smartphones. I'm well-versed in both iOS and Android, and can even bring my own devices to address any requests or needs related to what you’re looking for.
What about weddings?
While I can shoot a wide range of events and performances, weddings are not among them. Engagement photos are a different story, though in my experience, the same photographers often do both the engagement and wedding photography for couples getting married. If that's not necessarily the case for you, connect with me!
What about videography?
Not at this time. I can't offer the same level of service for recording footage the way I do with still photos. While I can certainly facilitate basic recordings in tandem with capturing photos, I lack the expertise to produce video content I feel meets the highest standard. That being said, I'm happy to collaborate with, or recommend others who do specialize in video to help realize your vision.
What about social media?
For sure! If you need photos optimized for social media platforms, I'll be happy to accommodate that. I already include those provisions and aim to be flexible in any project I take on. Related requests can come both before and even during a shoot, though we would have to discuss expected turnaround time if posting is urgent.
Do you teach photography at all?
Yes! If you have a new camera or want to up your game on your phone, connect with me to arrange either a virtual consultation or in-person session for hands-on tips and training. For example, I've previously received requests from women who were looking for their partners to learn how to take better photos of them, particularly with phones. Consultations and sessions can be done one-on-one or in a fun group setting.
Do you use AI to create images?
No, I don't. The photos I take are original, not generated by artificial intelligence (AI).
